Terra Salgada announces the expansion of its portfolio to Pico Island, with a new project on the north coast of the municipality of Madalena, integrated into the Landscape of the Pico Island Vineyard Culture, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
The project comprises three single-story houses, spaced out across the vineyard and fully respecting the dry stone walls that characterize this landscape, built manually over generations. The intervention is based on the principle that it is the landscape, and not the program, that determines the architecture. The vineyard remains in production, and the houses integrate into it.
True to the model that defines Terra Salgada, each unit guarantees total privacy for guests, accompanied by discreet and personalized service.
